The CCDC staff is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating surrounding for your child. Our teaching staff takes the time to develop an understanding of each child’s unique characteristics and needs, while creating an environment that is healthy, respectful, supportive and challenging for all children.

The staff at Cornerstone CDC is concerned with the total and unique growth and development of each child and seeks to promote mental development, social development, emotional development physical development and spiritual development.

Current Administration

Bridget Yates, Executive Director

37313_436070022017_7596045_nBridget has served as the Executive Director at Cornerstone since June of 2006. She is a Louisville native and mother of two Cornerstone alums, Julia and Lillian . Bridget graduated from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from Spalding University with a master’s degree in business communication. Bridget spends her free time with her family and coaching volleyball at a local college.


Amy Phillips, Assistant Director

She served as a three year old teacher for nearly 5 years before moving into the Assistant Director position in the fall of 2015. Amy graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  She and her husband have a son currently enrolled at Cornerstone and are expecting their second in March 2016!
